After establishing my brand — Azure Wing Photography — in 2024, I set out to capture striking visuals and lasting memories for organisations, performances and attendees alike. From small pop-ups and fundraisers to large conventions and concerts, I leave nobody behind. Living in the well-connected East Anglia region, I’m able to travel to London and surrounding areas with ease. CONCERTS

MIDSUMMER MUSIC

An outdoor summer concert was taking place at St George’s Garrison Church, London, hosted by Blackheath Halls and performed by their Orchestra. Members of the public came out with picnic blankets and drinks to enjoy an evening of old American-style music.

GO_A

After watching Go_A perform for Ukraine in the 2021 Eurovision finals, I fell in love with their music. When I saw that they were coming to indigo at The O2 for a concert, I asked if I could take some photos for the evening. What a delight it was to try concert photography for the first time!

CUPCAKKE

Viral TikTok rapper and singer-songwriter, CupcakKe, came to London as part of her Dauntless Manifesto tour. Some 1,500 fans brought their energy to her sold-out show at Electric Brixton. I approached the event organisers to request a press pass and was delighted at their welcoming response!

FUNDRAISERS

BARKING FOR BTRC

After their first successful dog show, Brain Tumour Research Campaign hosted another Barking for BTRC fundraiser in 2024 at Parsons Green, London. I contacted them to see if they needed photo coverage and I volunteered my photos for use on their website. Being surrounded by dogs all day was the best experience ever!

FREEDOM RUN MARATHON

A huge marathon was taking place in Battersea Park, London. While I couldn’t partake in the race, I offered my support as a photographer for the entire day instead. This was my first time photographing an event of this scale and I was amazed by all the energy!

TOLOKA FUNDRAISER

Campaign for Ukraine London hosted their TOLOKA fundraiser in 2023 which raised over £14,000 in support. There was such a great atmosphere with talented musicians, craftspeople, cooks and hard-working volunteers.

POP-UPS

LEXIE LIU X BAOBAE

Chinese singing star, Lexie Liu, came to London ahead of the release of her new hit single, POP GIRL. In collaboration with baobae 宝贝 and ButtercupBus, she hosted a super sweet pop-up at the Strongroom Bar in Shoreditch. Dedicated fans travelled across the UK to get a taste of Lexie’s exclusive ice cream flavour! I kept my camera in hand, ready to capture precious memories for her fans, as well as promotional material for the event organisers.

NO HOURLY COSTS, JUST DONATIONS

In exchange for helping to build my portfolio, I am happy to volunteer my time. Hourly/flat rates will not be charged, but I kindly ask for a donation on the day(s) of shooting. This contribution goes towards travel costs, image storage subscriptions and general camera upkeep.

ABOUT

WHO AM I?

I’m Holly, an amateur photographer who resides in a coastal Essex town. Since childhood, I expressed an interest in photography. I would take pictures with just about any device that had a camera on it! In my later years, I decided to study photography for my A Level exams which is when I bought my first DSLR camera — a Nikon D3400. I pursued work shadowing at an award-winning, local photography studio and continued to freelance after graduating from Sixth Form College. Now with a D500, I’m always looking for new opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge.At the beginning of my journey, I experimented in all areas of photography. Wildlife and landscapes were easily accessible for a beginner as nature is all around. After figuring out my style and getting to grips with my camera, I started to test the waters with portraits. Then after lockdown was over and socialising could resume, I found myself attending larger events. Now, I consider events photography to be my speciality. I enjoy the freedoms of roaming events, capturing raw, candid moments.
